Meet Jordyn Brown, the vibrant heartbeat of STARS known by her hero/stage name, Tectonica. She brings the rhythm and laughter to the group as the fun-loving drummer. However, there's more to Jordyn than meets the eye; her boisterous persona is complemented by an incredible power—control over the Earth element. Jordyn is the driving force behind the band's percussion section, setting the tempo for their music. While her easygoing and comedic nature is on full display, she possesses a hardcore side that perfectly aligns with her mastery over Earth's forces.
Her journey into STARS began alongside Elisapie, her college roommate and close friend. Together, they laid the foundation for the band, uniting their talents to create something extraordinary. But Jordyn's story started much earlier. She was what they call an "Early Bloomer," manifesting her phenomenal abilities at the tender age of two. Sadly, her powers drove her father away, unable to accept having a Phenosapien as a daughter. Her mother, however, embraced her uniqueness and remarried a man with similar abilities. He became Jordyn's mentor, helping her harness her Earth-controlling powers and adopting her as his own.
Growing up, Jordyn faced challenges due to her extraordinary abilities and the fear of inadvertently hurting others. Her stepfather played a crucial role in her development, focusing on sports and teamwork to help her overcome her social anxieties. Jordyn's educational journey started with homeschooling but took a turn when her family relocated to the Bahamas. There, she excelled as a volleyball player, representing her college (Florida A&M) and even earning a spot on the Bahamian Olympic team as a middle blocker. Yet, amidst her athletic achievements and larger-than-life personality, Jordyn has a notorious weakness—her love for food. Messing with her and her meal could be a grave mistake.
Explore Tectonica's captivating adventures and the epic synergy of her earth-shaping abilities in the thrilling comic series that promises to resonate with readers of all ages.
